Baan Tuk Din Hotel

We stayed three nights over New Year 2025. The staff were polite and helpful, and we really enjoyed the food at both breakfast and dinner. The latte was one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s a lovely boutique hotel, within walking distance of Khoisan Road, and we couldn’t fault the stay. Just be aware that rooms 102,103,104 & 105 face the road and get traffic noise. They provide ear plugs in those rooms, which says plenty. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

We loved staying here. The bathroom was really nice, the bed was comfortable, and the place felt luxurious. Breakfast was nice, and we had a great dinner at the restaurant. Nights could be a little loud from the street and the jazz bar downstairs, though that’s probably true across the city.

I loved the Jazz bar and gave it an excellent review. The hotel itself has a stylish look, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. But the room wasn’t soundproof at all. I could clearly hear traffic, motorbikes, and noise from connecting rooms. They leave complimentary ear foams, but even after several cocktails I still couldn’t sleep, so I got out of that comfy bed and checked out at 2am. I’d strongly suggest asking for a room away from the street. I booked through Agoda, where nearby parking was listed as an amenity. It wasn’t clear that parking costs 400/night and is separate from the hotel. When I called, staff explained where it was but didn’t mention the charge. There’s a desk in the room, but the outlets are awkwardly placed and too far away to plug in a laptop while working there. Staff couldn’t provide an extension plug when I asked.

Charming and stylish, with a really friendly, helpful team. We loved it and plan to come back. There’s a lovely jazz bar right on your doorstep, and the cocktails are so good they really take your breath away.
