I honestly haven't had a better hostel in Asia. It's so clean, the beds are comfy, and the security is really good, with a code on the main door and each room :) The family who own it are lovely, friendly, and helpful, and Wendy, a hostel volunteer, is lovely too. It's on a quiet street but close to everything you need on foot. Breakfast is free from 7 to 10am, and water and coffee are available all day. The outdoor chill area is amazing. Inside, there's a wooden table where you can use your computer, and there's also space to put your computer at your own bed. I have no complaints.

The quiet location and great breakfast made a good first impression. But at 5 in the morning, after a bumpy ride from chiang mai to bkk, the owner and guard put us out in the rain. We'd told the hostel we'd arrive early, but got no answer to our message. They said we couldn't wait in the lobby until check-in because it broke their rules, and told us to come back at 12. Luckily we managed to cancel and sleep somewhere else.

Friendly host, tidy room, and a tasty Thai-style breakfast. The location is convenient too. You can usually reach the host right away through line or wechat, unless it's bedtime, which was a big help for a backpacker like me. My top hostel choice in Bangkok.

It's a relaxed place, not a party hostel like its neighbor, Monkey something. The managers, or maybe owners, were very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The capsule-style dorm beds were so comfortable, and the bathroom was nice, with shelves for toiletries. Shampoo, soap, a small hand towel, and a medium-sized locker were provided. This was the only hostel so far where I got a delicious Thai buffet breakfast alongside the usual white bread. There's lots within walking distance: cafes, restaurants, a grocery store, a big mall with a huge, cheap food court underneath on the EmQuartier side, two BTS stops, and a Muay Thai/BJJ/MMA training gym. The space in front of the beds was a bit tight, and cigarette smoke from just outside the window drifted into the room.
