Service was good, and getting in felt secure: the main entrance uses card access and staff are at the front counter to screen visitors. There’s also a small food stall that closes in the early evening. I didn’t try it, but it could suit someone who’d rather not risk roadside food. The hotel has single and double room options. The beds are soft and comfortable, but the ones I chose had no frames and sat directly on the floor. Even vigorous activity didn’t make noise, since there are no bed frames. It’s tucked along a quiet alley, about five minutes from icon Siam. There’s a 7/11 just outside either end of the alley, on the main road.

I ate at the little restaurant by the lobby twice. The skillet egg dish I had at check-in was tasty, with bits of different meats, though it was a basic brunch and nothing special. At checkout I ordered the Thai Coconut dish while killing time before heading to my next hotel, and it absolutely blew me away. Get rice on the side to put in the bowl. The hotel itself is tucked just off the main road, across from ICONSIAM and the BTS station. My room was quiet and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel. Their branded soap and shampoo smell great. It feels like they care about getting the hospitality details right.

The staff were great and very helpful, and I enjoyed staying here for a few nights. The location is excellent, right across from Iconsiam and the BTS sky train. My small room was clean, with a nice bathroom. The mattress is on the floor, and the walls are thin enough that you can hear everything around you.

The team were friendly and really accommodating, which made the stay even better. Foodotel Bangkok is right in front of a mall and easy to get to. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the price was affordable. Great value for money, highly recommend!
