The room tap could use a longer reach. When we washed our hands or things in the middle of the basin, our hands hit the sides and water spilled over the edge onto the floor. The soundproofing could be better too. We spent nine nights at K Maison boutique hotel for our first stay. From the lift, lobby staff would open the door for us when they weren’t busy. A man with glasses did this every time he was there, a thoughtful extra touch. We only learned when checking out that he was the Manager named “Nu.” Thank you, Mr. Nu! Our first night got off to a rough start. We found a large yellowish patch on the sheets just as we were going to bed in our classic room. We told staff, and they immediately moved us to another room. They handled the change quickly, which we appreciated, and the rest of the stay was pleasant. The staff were always smiling and helpful. The hotel has a nice scent when you walk in, with good lighting, a minimalist look and a touch of oriental luxe. Our room was spacious and felt quite romantic, with its translucent toilet door. We enjoyed kay's cafe across the road, with its nice food and ala carte buffet style. There’s street food and a couple of restaurants nearby. We also liked the nearby king power DF mall, especially its Starbucks, and found Eclipse on the 4th floor tasty and reasonably priced. Miss MiMi @double U cafe was very friendly, and the cafe had a nice vibe, though the food was a little too sweet for us. The hotel is about a 10-12 minute walk from victory monument bts, and not far from Siam, platinum mall, chatuchak, asoke and most malls.

The staff were kind and there to help us at any hour. Their English was very good, so communication was easy. This hotel doesn’t offer all the services of a 5 star place, but it worked great for us since we just needed somewhere to stay. Highly recommended!

The bed is big, and the location is decent. There aren’t any shelves in the room, just a few coat hangers, so if you bring a lot of things you’ll have to keep them in your suitcase. The TV had only one channel. The staff were lovely. Breakfast is served across the road in a caffe, where you get a menu with a decent range of choices.

Staff were super nice. The first room had a strange stale smell, as if someone had eaten in there and it had lingered without ventilation. Staff brought it up, and we switched rooms. The location was our biggest plus: it’s very walkable and close to all sorts of public transit, malls and coffee shops. I think DMK airport is about a five-minute walk away, and you can probably take a nice bus there. BKK is easy to reach by train too. I expected a 4-star hotel since that’s how it’s listed, but the room didn’t feel like one. The floors and furniture looked poorly maintained, the curtains and pillows had stains, some fixtures were rusty, and the bathroom towel rail felt flimsy. My partner found the hot water pressure low. I took cold showers, so that didn’t bother me. For me, the attention to detail wasn’t there and the stay fell short of that 4-star expectation. It could still be a good deal if you go in knowing it may not feel like a 4-star hotel.

We stayed five days and had a really good time. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and they let us keep a room after checkout because our flight was late at night. That made everything much easier, and we really appreciated it. The food was good, and the coffee was probably the best I’ve had in a long time. The menu was the same every day, though, so we got a little bored of it. Still tasty, and I’d recommend this place without hesitation. One of my best stays.
