Ma Hotel Bangkok

The restaurant food was a good size for the price and filled us up without costing too much. When I had dinner there, the staff were polite, courteous, and honest. They didn't charge more than what you needed to have a filling meal. The front porch is set back from the road, with room to sit and watch traffic, and there's a shop mart about a 3-minute walk away for everyday items. Ma hotel is affordable, clean and comfortable, with courteous staff, and I've had a great experience there. My only small gripe was that some groups of guests sometimes talked loudly in the hallway outside the rooms. I'd recommend Ma hotel to anyone wanting a good place to stay at an affordable price with courteous service.

The room I had was quite modern and seemed fairly new, and the staff were very polite. It was spotlessly clean, seriously. They also kept my luggage for free after checkout. The 3000 baht security deposit did make me a bit uneasy, but checkout went fine. I can't fault the place.

The staff were polite and helpful, so full marks to them. But there were insects in the room, and even after I asked for them to be dealt with, they were still crawling around. We used the laundry bag for our dirty clothes, then were charged $60 without warning to wash two T-shirts and four pairs of socks. $20 of that was a service charge.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, and the hotel has a lobby where you can relax. The beds are comfortable, but the bathroom caused problems for us: the door had no lock and there was no spray. The swimming pool was average. Overall, a nice hotel.
