NAP Hotel Bangkok

The staff were friendly and courteous throughout, and the rooms were clean and well kept. The mattress felt a little hard for my taste. It’s very close to pratunam walking street, and there’s a buggy to ferry guests over if they don’t feel like walking.

The location is a plus, away from the busy street, but the hotel sits among residential areas where I didn’t feel safe. The room smelled strongly of mold, and spraying it over and over made no difference. The shower was very slippery, and the water was only warm, not hot. The air conditioner dripping onto the floor was the worst part. I couldn’t sleep with it running because the noise kept waking me up. The receptionists were extremely unfriendly, especially the manager. The cleaners and the three buggy drivers/door men were the saving grace, all very nice men. It may be cheap for some, but I’d rather spend a little more on a better hotel nearby. This place was terrible.

It’s a small room, but comfortable. The bed is on the firm side, though still better than in some hotels. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Room amenities are limited, but you can buy what you need at 7-11. There’s a buggy service with four pickup and drop-off points, including two 7-11s. The closest BTS is Phya Thai, one stop from Siam. You can ask for a buggy pickup at point 1 for the BTS station. Station 2 is near December and Platinum Mall.

The location and service were good, apart from one receptionist on the early morning shift. The bathroom smelled awful, apparently from the drains. Even with the fan running 24/7, the odor wouldn’t clear, so I had to keep the bathroom door shut to stop it spreading through the room.
