Phra Nakhon Poshtel

The café inside the hotel is great, especially the yuzu coffee, which is the tastiest I’ve ever had. The staff were so kind and the service was wonderful. It’s quiet and peaceful, and I felt safe there. I really love this place, and would recommend it for the good coffee, relaxed feel, and home-like service.

This is in old Bangkok, within walking distance of the Grand Palace and several temples. It isn’t close to the modern city with all its traffic and bars, which suited us because the area felt more authentic. The staff were lovely, the service was impeccable, and having a café on site was a real plus.

What I miss most is how the staff made us feel like family. They were friendly, accommodating, and happy to handle all our requests. It was lovely seeing them have lunch together while we ate downstairs. The café is right below the rooms, and their coffee was both delicious and affordable, a great start to the morning. One staff member surprised my friend with a birthday cake, even though they didn’t know it was her birthday. A few hours later, someone, who was also really pretty, came out with a cake they’d managed to get from outside. My friends wanted to give them a big shout-out for that. The room was clean, the hotel has a great look, and there are lots of delicious restaurants nearby. The Pra Nakhon Poshtel staff even let us bring outside food into the café to eat. We were there for five days, but I already wanted to move in forever. I’ll definitely stay here whenever I come back to Bangkok. If I get the chance, I’ll always choose Phra Nakhon.

The room was comfortable and modern, but the bathroom was a messy wet room, which is why I’m giving it four stars. You can walk to the grand palace, though there isn’t much else nearby. It was a decent stay, but I wouldn’t call it the best.
