Siam Place Airport

I'd put it around 3.5. The hotel has a decent website that's easy to understand and use for reservations, which is more than I can say for several other hotel sites. The rooms are a decent size, and the complimentary breakfast is tasty and somewhat filling. There's an hourly shuttle to and from the airport, but you need to book a room rate that includes the transfer. The hotel sits a short 2-4 minute walk off the main road, which makes hailing a taxi harder, and it's not easy to spot from the street. A large illuminated sign would help. The bathroom layout is odd and so small that a shower leaves the whole room wet. Front desk staff speak little or no English, though that may be common at other hotels too. Overall, good value for money.

The place is a bit worn and in a less than desirable neighborhood. The room's Wi-Fi and AC work, and it seems you can rent by the month at a significant discount. There's no airport shuttle, though they will call a taxi for you, and breakfast isn't included. Watch out for the neighborhood's wild dogs if you walk at night.

A simple 2-star airport hotel, about 20 minutes from the airport. A street cab is cheaper and faster than the hourly transfer service, and the hotel can help arrange one.

We tried to cancel a reservation three weeks before the date because we'd booked too many rooms. The hotel wouldn't refund us or respond to our emails asking for the money back. Avoid booking here. It feels like they're happy to take your money.
