After five peaceful days at Lamoon Vivit, I'd recommend it for the location and the service. We arrived at 11 AM, an hour before the official check-in, and they kindly let us in. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful, and there around the clock. The elevator was a big help, and the room was clean with duvets and towels, though a couple of towels smelled a little. Some outside noise came through, but it was manageable. The shared bathrooms were spotless and had plenty of shampoo and toilet paper. There's a cafe on the ground floor where you can easily get water, drinks, or snacks. Food stalls, cafes, and a 7-Eleven are just steps away. A very convenient spot with great service.

It's a peaceful, quiet place with a good location for the Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha, and Khaosan walking street if you like parties. You can get around easily from Democracy monument, about 600m away. The receptionist spoke English well and was very helpful, and luckily there's a lift. My main issue was the room size: it was so small I couldn't open even one medium-sized bag.

The family room with four bunk beds worked well for us, and the beds and bedding were comfortable. One bunk squeaked loudly and should be checked. I also wished there'd been a little table or chairs for our things, and hooks inside the shared shower cubicles to hang towels and clothes. The common room was simple, with a fridge for storing drinks or snacks. It's a safe, clean place with very friendly, accommodating staff, and the location is great for walking to The Grand Palace, Golden Mountain temple, Khaosan Road, 7-Eleven, and street markets. Would recommend! :)

We had a great time here. The hostel is very clean, the beds are cozy, and the staff are nice and cooperative. There's also a cafe on the ground floor. A great option for solo travelers or a group of friends, and I'd visit again.

The rooms were really clean, and the bathrooms were in great shape, with soap and shampoo topped up whenever needed. Staff were helpful and gave us lots of advice on things to do in Bangkok and how to get around. The location was amazing, with plenty of places to eat and get coffee nearby. It was a pleasant stay for us as a young couple. The walls are a little thin, so loud late-night conversations from inconsiderate guests could be annoying. Also, there wasn't any free breakfast, despite what Google says.
