Vince Hotel

We stayed five nights after finding a Facebook promo that brought the rate to just over THB2K a night. The hotel is basically good, and our deal included breakfast and a late night buffet. Our room was large enough, though showing some age. The shower stall was a bit small in our room, which didn’t bother us, but could be an issue for someone larger. There are lots of locally run coffee shops, restaurants, and massage places within a few minutes’ walk, and the area is surprisingly busy. The hotel is about half a kilometer up Soi 11 Phetchaburi, not especially convenient for transport. Platinum Fashion Mall and Pratunam Market are a 10 minute walk, and Big C and Central World Mall are about 15 minutes away. A golf cart shuttle takes you closer to those markets and Phaya Thai BTS. Breakfast was okay, with plenty of hot trays and some vegetable options. The food buffet on the 8th floor from 9-11 pm was interesting, but we only looked and didn’t try it because we were already full from all the great places to eat in BKK. Staff could be friendlier and more accommodating. When we called the front desk for a plate, they kept saying no until we complained to a manager. It’s a good fit for a couple or family on a budget, especially at THB 2K a night or less, and you’ll get plenty to eat with the breakfast and late dinner buffets.

The reason we returned to Vince Hotel Pratunam for a second stay was its thoughtful, warm service. On arrival, staff helped with our luggage and offered complimentary juice and popcorn, which was a nice welcome after the long journey. Our family especially enjoyed the complimentary Thai costume session, available by reservation between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Som and Mild helped us choose outfits and accessories, then guided our poses for individual, couple, and family photos. There were around 20-30 costumes for men and women, plus lots of headpieces, earrings, and belts. Everyone had fun, from our grandparents in their seventies to the parents and school-aged children. We got over 300 high quality digital photos that same day, which was impressively quick. The food was another highlight. The free late night supper from 9:00-11:00 PM had lots of delicious choices, and the whole family ate well. Breakfast had plenty of fresh options, and the children especially liked the four yogurt flavors. If we come to Bangkok again, Vince Hotel Pratunam will be our first choice, and we’d recommend it to other travelers.

We’re staying here now, and all the staff at Vince Hotel have been helpful, accommodating, and trustworthy. At breakfast on the first floor, my one year old niece accidentally spilled her mother’s coffee. SOMCHAI from the restaurant came right over and cleaned the table and floor. IN has also been consistently warm and helpful whenever we have breakfast. The small gentleman on housekeeping duty on the second floor has been dedicated, honest, and passionate about his room cleaning work. Kudos to everyone at Vince Hotel for the excellent service.

The staff, especially Som and Mild, made the stay and the Thai costume photo experience feel welcoming and memorable. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, and the corners around it look great in pictures. My room was clean, comfortable, and relaxing, and the service was excellent, with friendly, attentive staff ready to help. I’d recommend it to anyone after good hospitality, a comfortable stay, and a fun photo experience.
