The building looks old from outside, though the inside seems well maintained so far. Rent is affordable if you want to be near the city center. There are also two swimming pools, a gym, and a sauna.
It's a quiet, clean apartment building, with rents starting at 10,000 for one or two bedrooms and one bathroom. The pool is nice and goes up to the 22nd floor. People assigned to the lobby can speak a little English. Foreigners can rent here with a two-month deposit and one month paid in advance.
Bad place to live. The rent is cheap, but the electricity bills are high. I once had to pay 10k baht for two months. There have been many incidents here, and people steal from cars in the parking lot since it's not secure. I wouldn't recommend it.
There are two pools, one outdoors on the 10th floor and an indoor kiddie pool on the 19th. The gym is split into two rooms, one for women and one for men, and each has a sauna that's closed Mondays for cleaning and maintenance. This is a very old high-rise condo, and the rooms are rented out by different people. It's cheaper than other condos, with monthly rents from 2k to 11k baht. A few months ago, the cheapest rooms were as low as 1,400 baht. Some rooms have better ventilation, but they cost more. The low-budget rooms can be very uncomfortable. In the tiny rooms that share a toilet with other occupants, the toilet is bigger than the room itself. They have a window facing the alley but no other way for air to get out, so ventilation is poor and it gets very hot. Cleanliness is an issue because the building is old. If you share a toilet or bathroom, it depends whether the other people are hygienic.
For a short stay, you can find a place here for just 100 to 120 baht. Quite a few Filipinos live here, and some are very accommodating while others aren't. There are also travel agencies here that run visa trips every day.
