Villa Klang Wiang

We've stayed here twice and would come back on our next trip if rooms are available. It's a lovely boutique hotel in a quiet, convenient part of the old city, with great service and a welcoming library to sit and relax in.

We were glad to find Villa Klang Wiang among all the options in the old city. It's a lovely hotel in a calm neighbourhood but still very central. We tried all three breakfast options and enjoyed them all. The reception and restaurant staff were kind, and the rooms were beautiful, with comfortable beds and a spacious bath. Highly recommend!

The common areas were quiet, and the outdoor spaces around the pool were lovely. We spent four nights here in February and really enjoyed it. The rooms are modern, nicely decorated, and have a balcony with a seating area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made getting around easy. Faster internet would be the one thing I'd change. I'd stay again.

We loved how peaceful the grounds were, despite being just steps from the old city moat. There was so much to enjoy on the property, from the pool and formal library to the exercise room, fountains, art, little items for sale, and all the places to sit. The staff were professional, fun, and welcoming, and the rooms were large, clean, and had great balconies. Breakfast was superb, too. We found this elegant villa after a tiring night at a boutique hotel by the old city gates, where road noise had worn us down. We weren't sure it would fit our budget, but went in to see the dramatic classical entrance and were surprised by all it offered. We also saw the owner checking on comfort and cleanliness, and witnessed a special monk blessing over the grounds. Our Thai friends were impressed as well. We enjoyed every moment and are already planning another stay.
