The room itself was great, with a king size bed, modern furnishings, plenty of space, excellent bedding and top-notch towels. The AC worked well, and it was very quiet. Breakfast was decent, but the hotel should replace that old Nescafe machine. The coffee it makes is absolutely terrible, which is a shame when Chiang Rai produces the best coffee in Thailand. It’s a great hotel, but for a decent cup, you’ll need to go to a nearby coffee shop.

One of the better breakfasts I’ve had here. The hotel was clean and nice, with fantastic, helpful staff. Rooms are modern, the showers have good hot water, and the linen and pillows are nice. The bed was a little hard but fine. There are large televisions and good WiFi.

The shared bathroom ventilation is the one big problem. I was on the 3rd floor, and when someone on the same floor smoked, the cigarette odor came through the pipes and filled my bathroom. Running the exhaust fan didn’t help at all. I was woken several times in the middle of the night or early morning by strong smoke smells when I used the toilet. If cigarette smoke bothers you, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Otherwise, it’s a solid choice, with clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a good location.

Sann Hotel is handy for getting around on foot, with plenty of eateries and bars nearby and the saturday night market within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, and the stay was enjoyable and great value for the price. I’d recommend it.

What a lovely hotel. The staff were wonderful, always ready to bring whatever we needed for the room or the swimming pool. Thanks so much for the best stay we've had so far. We only wish we'd stayed longer. You were amazing.
