Istay Phuket The Scene Condo

The beach was the main drawback for me. You need a scooter or motorbike to get there, though taxis are available and you can rent a motorbike to explore the area. I was very satisfied with my stay in this cozy accommodation in Puckett. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I felt at home from the moment I arrived. The apartment was comfortably furnished to modern European standards, at an amazingly affordable price, and the little kitchenette made it easy to cook something whenever I wanted. I also loved the impressive view of the world of Phuket, which greeted me each morning and gave me a positive start to the day. There are washing machines you can use for a small fee, plus a small fitness area. The staff were hospitable and helped me feel comfortable. I had a wonderful time and recommend the place to travelers looking for a cozy, affordable and comfortable stay.

The condo has plenty of car parking for overnight stays. It's also in a great spot, only a few minutes' drive from Central department-store, where you can find almost everything you need.

I wouldn't rent here in high season. In low season, 11,000 for three months seemed like a great deal, but living here during high season was hard and unpleasant. There's a terrible sewage smell in every room. The owner said she knew about it and couldn't do anything because it's a condo-wide problem affecting every room. We blocked all the drain holes with bags, and the photo was taken after a month. There are also lots of ants, but those can be dealt with. The sewage smell can't.

It’s a handy spot for getting around Phuket by bike. Central Phuket is about a three-minute ride away, there’s a 7-Eleven opposite, and a good breakfast place just outside the condo. The pool was average and I barely used it, while the gym is very small. Staff were friendly.
