Khaolak 2K Pool Villa

Both apartments worked well for our family. We stayed upstairs and my mum had the ground floor place, which was especially spacious. The beds were a great size, everything was comfortable and well appointed, and the private pool was amazing and the perfect temperature. The area is quiet, but not too far from things: a short walk gets you to restaurants and massage places, 7-11 is nearby, and a taxi into town is around 200-300 baht each way. Swell, the coffee shop across the road, is a must try, especially with kids. Minny was so warm and welcoming, greeting us with a smile every day. The rooms were cleaned daily, though the air conditioners were turned off and a balcony door left open, so the rooms heated up fast and were hard to cool after a day out. I asked Minny to turn the air conditioners on when we were an hour away from returning, which fixed it easily. One suggestion: the curtains don't block much light, so blinds underneath or blackout curtains would help. We'd definitely stay again. Thanks, Minny!

We stayed in the ground floor apartment with our family and had a lovely time. There was plenty of room, it was well furnished and super clean, and the beds were really comfortable. The nearby beach is only two minutes away, and you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Minnie is a wonderful host with a wealth of local knowledge. Tip Top restaurant, a two minute walk to the main road, is a good dinner option. If you're looking for breakfast, the hotel next door is a possibility.

There’s building work going on nearby, but the garden still feels wonderfully peaceful. Minnie and Eric have made a stunning sanctuary here, and we loved the place.

Minnie was the most charming and loving Thai person we met on our trip, and a wonderful host during our five days there. The villa was calm, lovely and incredibly clean. It was our best stop in Thailand, and we'd definitely come back. Thanks for everything, Minnie!
