Sea Far Resort

We really enjoyed the beach, which was clean and calm, and had free paddle boards, canoes, snorkels and more to use. The pool was also very well maintained. Staff were the real highlight, warm and attentive throughout. Our room was spacious, with daily service for fresh towels and water. The air conditioning was a lifesaver on the hottest days. There was a huge choice of delicious food, with a small café and bar alongside the restaurant. Breakfast was included each morning, with a good selection that changed from day to day.

Our group of 23 rented about ten rooms and spent seven days here in July. We had a few rainy days, but the restaurant had plenty of room for board games and conversation, and we made great family memories around the awesome pool. The team even came out to wave goodbye when we left. Getting from the pier was easy, and we were greeted with cold drinks. Cold water and toast were available throughout the day. The staff were quite young, but there were smiles all around for our whole stay. We loved it there. Thank you, team Seafar.

The grounds are attractive and well cared for, with fairly spacious rooms, dependable cleaning staff, and a pretty pool. The beach is calm and good for children, and there's room to walk around a bit. It's somewhat far from the town center, so walking there takes time. Food was the biggest letdown. Much of it was sugary, the Western menu barely changed, and both regional dishes and restaurant meals were average and rather expensive. Some items weren't marked spicy but were very hot. Garlic potatoes looked vegetarian but came with bacon. At breakfast the staff often missed things: we had to find and thoroughly clean a baby chair each time, plates stayed on the table, and coffee wasn't refilled. One slim worker who always wore a mask was the exception, very engaged and helpful. It also felt like there were a few too many staff. I mention these issues because the hotel we stayed at before cost less and gave us a completely different experience.

The beach is nice, and the bar is pleasant, but I wasn't impressed with the restaurant. I didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't comment on the rooms. The staff couldn't understand us, and it didn't feel vegetarian-friendly. There were no suitable options when we asked, and when we requested one change to a dish, we were told they couldn't do it because the dishes were set. I ended up eating only chips. They didn't seem to understand or accommodate what customers need, including vegetarians.
