Ozone Beach Huts

I'm still here on a one month stay, and this charming beachfront place in Koh Lanta has been unforgettable. It's practically on the island's most beautiful beach. There are traditional bamboo huts and modern AC rooms. My hut has that rustic tropical feel, with bamboo walls, a palm-leaf roof, and a raised floor, but it's also comfortable. A sturdy bamboo table and powerful fan help keep it cool. The private bathroom is brick built with a tiled floor, modern fixtures, and is spotless. The shower has great pressure, a new heater with a digital temperature display, and a handheld bidet. They even provide toilet paper and fresh towels. Outside, the garden is full of fragrant Frangipani trees, and the flowers smell amazing in the evening. Each hut has a veranda with a hammock and an armchair. The bed is spacious and has a cotton mosquito net, so I've slept well. There's a shared area with a big table and stools, another hammock, a large guest fridge, complimentary coffee, tea and creamer, plus dispensers for boiling and cold mineral water. It all makes things convenient. The lady who manages the property is a gem, always cheerful, friendly, and happy to go the extra mile. She also owns a nearby restaurant with what I think is the best cuisine on the island, and a varied, delicious menu. The cleaning staff lady is just as lovely, taking great care of the huts and common areas and always smiling. You can also rent a motorbike here and get help with other needs. I can't recommend this relaxing place enough if you're after a beautiful setting and warm, attentive hosts 🥰
