The pool and the nearby local restaurants were nice, and our room had plenty of space, a good-pressure shower, water, coffee, and a kettle. It's accessible, but the walk down is pretty steep; walking along the beach was often easier and more pleasant. We had several problems for the price, though. The property looks run down and poorly maintained, including chipped and missing pool tiles. Staff service varied, and they weren't always welcoming or helpful. The internet kept dropping out, too. Our room had no TV, and after two days the air conditioning stopped working, so we had to change rooms. The open shower sent water across the bathroom floor. We also found bugs. They provided spray, but at this rate that's not what you'd expect. Breakfast isn't included, and the breakfast area was torn apart and an eyesore. I'm not sure why. For what we paid, breakfast should definitely be included. With the upkeep and guest service as they are, it's hard to justify the cost. A few redeeming features are there, but the place needs investment and better day-to-day operations.

We were nearing the end of about a month travelling through Thailand when we stopped in Koh Tao, our penultimate stop, and chose somewhere a little nicer. The hotel was nicely positioned away from the busy streets but still a short walk from the pier and plenty of restaurants. They also run a free shuttle at certain times. The staff were lovely and the rooms clean and pleasant. You could opt out of daily cleaning and still get two bottles of water and a fresh toilet roll, which I believe isn't common. A really nice stay and a lovely place to finish our trip.

I booked at the last minute when there weren't many choices, and I'm glad I ended up here. The staff were so friendly and helpful, including arranging a shuttle to and from the Pier. It's quiet but close to everything, just 5 meters from the beach. I used the hotel's kayaks and snorkels. Our room was spacious, with a balcony facing the pool, and the AC worked well. The pool was a nice extra. The hotel is a bit old and could use maintenance, but the value for money is good and I'd recommend it. Such a lovely surprise on my visit to Ko Tao.

Getting around from here is easy, and the setting is beautiful. There's a private beach, and the sunsets are unreal.
