Ching was incredible throughout our wedding stay with a large group. She helped with just about everything, from arranging tours and an in-house chef to organizing tuktuk rides. If her manager sees this, please pay her more! The chef cooked for 26 of us, and the food was some of the best we had on the trip. There was so much that we had lunch leftovers for several days. We also had in-house massages, which were fine, though I'd suggest going into town for one. The house itself was beautiful. The beds are quite firm and weren't the most comfortable, but the air conditioning kept the rooms plenty cool. There was a friendly driver with a tuktuk that fit 10 people, and trips into town and back cost just 100 baht each way, about $3 USD. I think that saved us a lot over the week. A walk down the beach to the nearby seafood restaurant is also well worth it, one of our best meals of the trip. It was a lovely stay, and I felt we were well looked after the whole time.

The service was hit or miss, and it could take two or three calls to the butler to get housekeeping to clean the house. The villa is modern but quite run down in places. One of the five rooms, four upstairs and one on the ground floor, has no ensuite bathroom. The jacuzzi has sharp corners that are easy to scratch yourself on. Even so, this is my favorite among the Amatapura Villas. It's in a good location, spacious, and has a big pool with a jacuzzi.

The villa is magnificent for its setting, charm, outdoor areas, and the services from Ching and his team. It's still in its original condition, though, and the beds aren't very comfortable. You have to overlook some unfinished details: ceilings held together by habit, drooping window joints, and kitchen units coming apart.
