Beyond Patong

The pool has a nice view, and you’re only a couple of minutes from the beach and a five-minute walk from Bangala road. Nightlife is close, but far enough away that you can still get some quiet. The staff were polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with very comfortable beds, though the pillows were a bit big. The sink placement is a little odd but gives the room character. I’d definitely stay again.

We had a pleasant stay, though the bathroom could be cleaner, especially the shower floor, which wasn’t very clean from the start. Our room was properly cleaned every day. There was no noise problem for us, it was completely fine. The staff were all very nice, although only one or two receptionists seemed to speak English, so communicating with the others was difficult. The location is the best part, close to everything. Right outside are an exchange office, pharmacy, massage studio, 7/11, and lots of local restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean, with umbrellas, towels, and a beach bag to use, plus fresh drinking water bottles every day. The damp smell and humidity in our room were noticeable and unpleasant, but our friends’ room next door didn’t smell as strong. The WiFi was really bad in our rooms. We asked the day before checkout to stay one extra hour because our flight was very late, but the charge was too high for an hour. You could get another night at a cheaper hotel for that amount. They did let us leave our luggage.

It was really nice to meet the manager, Baimon, who gave us a lot of help. The rooms were great and clean, and it’s convenient for enjoying the sea and beach. We’ll book a Patong hotel next time!

The bathroom temperature wasn’t stable, so I hope they can improve that. Otherwise, the room was cozy, spotless, and smelled fresh as soon as I walked in. I also got an unexpected birthday surprise: they made a cake out of towels, such a thoughtful touch.
