Hotel Chateau Du Village Patong

The location can be a little tricky, but there are plenty of useful places nearby, including restaurants, massage shops, laundry, a shopping center, and 7/11. The hotel was nice and clean. K-beat at reception was especially kind. Whenever I needed help, he was there for me, and that support meant a lot while I was in a foreign country. The one good thing was the quattro formaggi pizza. That’s about it. I’d avoid this place and wouldn’t stay again. The room smelled disgusting when I arrived. The toilet leaked urine, and there was a constant sewage smell of urine and feces. There were drunk guests and prostitutes shouting at night, so sleeping was impossible. Hygiene was unacceptable. I left at 9:00 AM and got back at 10:00 PM to find the room completely untouched. Housekeeping barely did anything. They didn’t replace the shower items or glasses, threw toilet paper into the sink instead of putting it on the holder, and there were no razors. The towels were dirty and stained. Mirrors weren’t cleaned, the floor wasn’t vacuumed or mopped, the furniture and nightstands weren’t dusted, and cleaning was done with a stick with bristles instead of proper equipment. The room was ridiculously small and had only five hangers, which wasn’t enough. The TV was far from the bed, and having to log in to Netflix every single time was extremely annoying. Mosquitoes were everywhere in the room. I was covered in bites even though I kept the windows and doors shut. The advertised shuttle service was completely unreliable. I was dropped off somewhere, but nobody came to pick me up. I waited the whole day and nobody showed.

The rooftop pool was a favorite, especially with those stunning views and sunsets. The hotel had a lively feel, and the staff were friendly. The room was modern and clean, and I felt comfortable and welcome as soon as I arrived. Patong can feel hectic and overwhelming, so it was nice to have a calm spot away from it all. I thought it was fantastic for the price and would absolutely recommend it. If I return to Patong, this will be the first place I look to book.

I had a relaxing stay at Chateau du Village in Phuket. The atmosphere was calm, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, and well looked after, with a good layout and the basic things I needed. The design gives the hotel an elegant, distinctive style. I enjoyed my visit and would recommend it.
