The staff made this stay for me. Dante, Stan, Jay Jay, and George were fantastic bartenders, friendly and professional, and made each bar visit fun. Rennick, the manager, handled a difficult situation with care. Every problem we ran into was sorted quickly, and the team clearly cares about looking after guests. The resort can be a little impractical, but the views, location, and people make up for it. It feels tucked away and luxurious, while still being walkable to the madness of Patong when you want it. That balance works well for families, too. The drinks were good and fairly priced, and happy hour was great. Tell them what you need and they really try to help. For me, it was a five-star stay, and I’d recommend it.

Dinso’s design is the first thing that gets you. The concrete and raw wood look gives it a jungle hideaway feel, away from Patong’s chaos, and the jelly-blue pool really is as striking as the photos. But the room hardware felt weak for a Vignette Collection property: basic toilets and a cheap Panasonic hair dryer. The soundproofing was so poor I could hear every splash from the pool below. As a non-smoker, I also found people smoking right beside me on the breakfast terrace a real mood killer. At first, it seemed like an “Instagrammable” trap. The staff changed my mind. They seemed to care rather than just follow a manual. After I checked out, I went to the beach and came back covered in sand, hoping for a quick rinse before the airport. Instead of sending me to a gym shower, the front desk gave me a key to a brand-new room and told me to take my time. That was next-level hospitality. There were other thoughtful touches: the Massaman curry was amazing with artisan bread, wet wipes arrived at 2 AM in under 10 minutes, and a kind housekeeper left a handwritten apology for cleaning while I was out. It all felt sincere and human. If Dyson hair dryers and high-tech toilets matter most, you might be annoyed. For me, the atmosphere and staff made the compromises worthwhile.

We were really happy with our stay at Dinso Resort. The room and facilities were luxurious, excellent, and well maintained, so everything felt comfortable and high quality. The team was warm and always ready to help, especially at breakfast, where they arranged everything just as we asked and did it with a smile. By the pool, staff sometimes brought little treats or refreshing juice, a lovely extra that made the experience feel more luxurious. We’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone after a fun, upscale stay in Phuket.

The resort has a distinctive, interesting feel, almost like living in the jungle. I was glad I joined the cooking class during my stay. Chef EL taught us to make authentic Thai dishes from scratch and filmed the best moments. The package includes three courses and felt well worth the price. Don’t miss it! Reception was okay, though they could improve by spending more time welcoming guests, introducing the resort, and explaining the daily activities and its design.
