I felt fine after leaving each day, but at the hotel I woke up every morning with a sore throat, sore eyes, and a blocked nose. The smell was extremely disgusting, and the place was dirty. I had to leave the balcony door open whenever I could. The headboard looked full of rot or possibly termites. The TV didn’t work, and sunrise came through a huge bathroom window with no curtain. Broken bathroom shutters let mosquitoes in, and the shower was disgusting enough that I had to clean it myself. Staff were unpleasant and unfriendly, and reception was very rarely staffed. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in.

I can't speak to the room, but the staff were very rude and not good at talking with customers. I don't think they were even Thai. Thai people are usually kind and respectful. Stay away from this place.

The price is great, especially since the rooms next door are twice the size. It’s a simple place with no frills, and there’s parking. The room isn’t large, but it was incredibly clean, with the floors washed well and good linens. The interior has a loft style. It was quiet too, with no cafes below the windows and nobody yelling. I’m here now, and don’t understand the bad reviews, so I wanted to leave a short one.

We stayed four nights. The room is small, and so is the balcony if you have one. It works fine as a place to change rooms. The beach is 2 km away, though everything is easy to reach by road and only a three-minute bike ride. Trash is taken out at 7:00 AM, which is very noisy, but after that you can sleep until 10:00 AM. Picking up the key with the chip switches off the refrigerator, so it defrosts in the evening.
