The Cocoon Patong Hotel

I came back on October 24th and stayed for a week. Htet, the receptionist, was attentive and friendly, always smiling when she saw me and offering guests good advice. On my earlier visit last month, I stayed for about six days, and Sprite at reception was very helpful, explained everything clearly, and sometimes played pool with me. I'd recommend this hotel. It's near 7/11 and Patong Beach, and I'll come back when I have a longer holiday. Five stars from me. ❤️✅ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The bathroom was awful, with weak water pressure, questionable cleanliness, and a smell that had me holding my breath. The towels seemed ancient. My room was dirty when I arrived, with stains I didn't want to think about, and the air conditioning was either useless or freezing. Noise from outside and around the hotel made sleeping impossible, including what sounded like furniture being dragged at 3 a.m. Staff showed little interest in helping. Even a basic question seemed to bother them, and problems got shrugs instead of solutions. The advertised Wi-Fi barely worked. The location was all noise and chaos, with no charm for me, and I checked out early to get away. Staying at Cocoon Hotel APK in Phuket felt like a survival challenge instead of a holiday. Save your money and sanity, stay somewhere else.

I booked six months ahead at a discounted rate, then got an Agoda notification saying the hotel couldn't accommodate me because of a maintenance issue. After that, I saw the same room listed again for much more. Pathetic and dishonest. Don't stay here!

The location is great, close to everything you need in Patong. Rooms are big and lovely, and the staff are kind and really helpful. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
