This was a pleasant stay in a reasonably priced hotel in a quieter part of Bangkok. The staff were friendly, and the beds were comfortable, though I did find a spring sticking out. The rooms are basic, with both private and shared bathroom options. My private bathroom was clean, the shower had good hot water, but there wasn't a sink. I can't say how the shared bathrooms are. The fans worked well, although one of our two was broken and it didn't make much difference. The location isn't too far from most attractions, but expect to spend a fair bit of time in taxis. I'd recommend it if you don't mind staying farther from the main areas.

The room was clean, a decent size, and the A/C worked fine. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and spoke English. There was good water pressure in the bathroom, free coffee downstairs, and a small balcony with chairs set aside for smoking. You can often get a very good price here. Check-in was at 11:30 and the room wasn't ready, though that might have been the guest's fault, so it wasn't a big issue. The exterior isn't very presentable, and there isn't enough space to park a car outside overnight. In the evening, tiny, very hungry mosquitoes were around the shared areas. The inside could use a refresh, with the walls and doors painted. It wouldn't be a big job.

For 550 thb a night plus a refundable 300 thb deposit, this is a very cheap place to stay in Soi Buakhao. It's clean, quiet, and has good wifi, with plenty of inexpensive massage shops nearby. Some rooms have no view, the decor is simple, and amenities are limited.

It's family-run, and the people are friendly. The rooms are a good size, with an ensuite, fridge, AC, and a TV with 50 channels in various languages. There's also laundry for clothes. Being just off the main Rd keeps the noise down.

The room and bathroom were dingy, and the air conditioner took ages to cool the room. The location was okay, on a quieter street but still close enough to everything.
