My experience was disappointing, though the staff seemed hardworking and were doing their best. The bigger problem seemed to be management and the property’s upkeep. The place felt overcrowded and lacked the basic comfort and etiquette I’d expect during a stay. We checked in at 4 PM, but rooms weren’t ready because the hotel was still handling earlier checkouts. They only started cleaning after getting the keys back, which felt unprofessional. There were no lockers in the rooms, and the bathrooms were extremely cramped, with leaking fittings and flush systems that didn’t work properly. Wi-Fi was practically unusable. When we asked about it, we were told there were “too many guests,” which suggested poor planning of the infrastructure. Housekeeping barely understood when we asked for disposal bags for sanitary napkins. Management should make sure guest-facing staff have at least basic English support. The property seems to rely on its prime location without meaningful upgrades to the facilities or guest experience. Based on this stay, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The huge swimming pool was a highlight for me. This is a very old hotel, but the staff keep it neat and clean. It’s right opposite Central mall, convenient for shopping, and local markets are nearby too. The restaurant makes food to suit Indian guests, and the quality is okay, not great. They don’t provide basic amenities. Overall, I was satisfied.

The convenient location was the only part that worked well for us at Golden Beach Pattaya Hotel. The service and food were far below what we expected, and the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional throughout. Their replies were often rude and unhelpful, and the hospitality didn’t meet our expectations. We wouldn’t recommend the hotel based on this experience. Management needs to take guest feedback seriously and improve staff attitude, professionalism, and the way guests are handled.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, and we had a very comfortable stay in Pattaya. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, and the food was a highlight, with plenty of tasty, well-prepared choices. There isn’t much of a scenic view, but it’s a great option if you care more about comfort and good service.

The place felt gloomy and dated, and the floors were uneven enough to make walking around a trip hazard. We’d booked a king bed as a couple, but were given two small singles pushed together. Nobody apologized, and staff were rude and dismissive when we raised it. Breakfast was just as frustrating: they refused simple dietary changes without making any effort. Pattaya has better choices, so I wouldn’t spend money here.
