Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel And Resort

The location makes it easy to get to Jomtien Beach, with restaurants and shops nearby. Most staff were polite and helpful, though one person at the front desk was rude and unhelpful when we were given the wrong room and asked for help moving our luggage. Our Blue Wave room at Jomtien Palm Beach Resort & Hotel was renovated, clean, bright, and more modern than the older room types. It was comfortable, though the lack of a wardrobe was inconvenient during our week-long stay, since we had to keep our clothes in suitcases. The hotel is very large and can get crowded. Breakfast had enough choice but wasn't memorable, and it could feel chaotic at peak times. The pool also filled up quickly, with sunbeds likely taken after 10 AM. The water didn't look very clean or recently refreshed, and the floor around the pool was slippery, so we had to walk carefully.

The location is wonderful, and the room was huge and clean with excellent water pressure. Bar buses pass every few minutes and go around a loop. It's 15b at the moment, whatever the trip length, though I always gave 20b. There are plenty of cafes, a nearby night market, proper massage places, and an excellent coffee shop close by.

The worst part of my stay was how the hotel handled the construction. Major work started inside the hotel on May 5, with no signs, notice, advance warning, or offer of another room. I had to call reception myself about the unbearable noise, and I have videos of it. The noise woke me every morning at 9:00 AM. I was pregnant, which made it especially unpleasant, and neither reception nor the Front Office Manager offered a satisfactory solution or showed real concern. I stayed from April 30 to May 7, 2026, and wouldn't return or recommend the hotel because of this poor management and the other issues. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bedding good, so I slept well. But there was dust and dirt under the beds, the shower wasn't properly cleaned, and the old wardrobes and drawers were outdated and awkward to use. Breakfast had a good range and was generally enjoyable, but there was no coffee machine. The area was decent, though the hotel was quite far from the main tourist attractions, making it less convenient to get around. The lower pool was far too warm to use comfortably in hot weather. The upper pool had a better temperature, but it was very dirty and almost always empty, which was a shame given its potential.

We had a great time. The rooms were really nice after the renovation, and our view was amazing. The hallways, though, looked very unclean. It's a five-minute walk across the street to the beach, and they have showers and tools to rinse sand off. Great for small children. The pool was clean, but a few rough patches on the bottom scraped the kids' toes. Food was excellent and the servers were friendly. Be sure to tip everyone!
