K2 Seaside Suites

The receptionist was great and tried hard to help with everything, but the hotel is extremely dirty and old. The windows shake and keep opening all night. There's a horrible sewage smell in the lobby that makes you hold your breath. Bugs keep falling from the old wooden bathroom door, with more inside it. When I had time to look around, I saw plenty of nice condos and hotels for the same price.

Bau, our AirBnB host, was really kind. We arrived a little early and she let us check in before 2:00 pm, then helped carry our luggage up to our room on the 4th floor. K2 guesthouse worked well for us, with 7-11, big C mart, Family Mart, and lots of massage shops nearby. Prices ran from 200-1000 baht ($6-$30 per hour), depending on the kind of massage. I've had a lot of massages since first arriving in Thailand, and the ones here in Pattaya were the best, cheap but great quality. There's no prominent sign for the guesthouse, but you can enter K2 guesthouse in your GPS. There's no elevator, so avoid booking if you've got heavy or bulky luggage. The beaches are a 5 minute walk away, and it's only 3 minutes to a motorcycle taxi.

It was a construction site. I booked 7 nights but left after 3 because they were doing work inside the hotel during the day.

The rooms are in bad shape, so it's cheap for a reason. The location is okay, and the staff are good apart from the old lady, who is rude and disrespectful.
