Pattaya Park Beach Resort

Good location and good value. It’s not expensive, but it’s not fancy either.

I spent five days here and had a lovely stay. The building was clean, tidy, and quiet, and the price was very reasonable. The reception staff were more than wonderful, and the location is close to all the places of interest.

Super clean. I haven’t seen a roach in four days. There’s no safe in the room, so you have to use one in the lobby. It can get noisy at times, probably because it’s a big hotel, so bring earplugs wherever you go. The beach is close, and the hotel is central to walking street and the Soi 6 area. There’s golf and cultural sites to explore nearby, plenty of food around, and Central Pattaya mall is about a 10-minute walk.

The location was good, and the first-floor reception staff were decent, but the cleaning was so poor that I don’t plan to return. When I arrived for my five-day stay, I found piles of dust and cigarette ash in the drawers and closet. It was so dirty I spent over an hour wiping them with tissues, and the tabletop was dirty too. The cigarette smell was strong, so I bought an air freshener at 7-Eleven with my own money and sprayed it. For two days, housekeeping didn’t leave toilet paper or soap, so I had to ask at the front desk. The cleaning also seemed sloppy. I usually went out between 1:30 and 2 PM and asked for the room to be cleaned, but almost every day the cleaner knocked around 1 PM or earlier to ask if I wanted cleaning. That annoyed me. There was no “MAKE UP ROOM” or “PLEASE DON'T DISTURB” sign, and I don’t understand why they kept knocking instead of cleaning when I requested it at the front desk before 3 PM. I also found three cockroaches during my stay.
