Star Residency

The staff took really good care of their guests. They were helpful, full of information, and great to deal with. My photos show the view from my window and me chilling in a chair across the street. That chair was about 80 ft from my hotel room.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. The room was old, poorly maintained, and not very clean, and there's no parking. I was upgraded to a sea-view room, but it wasn't worth it. Noise came through the window all night.

The hotel's location was its only saving grace. This was one of the worst places I've stayed since coming to Thailand, and I wouldn't recommend it even if it were free. The room smelled, and the walls looked like they'd been recently rebuilt but left unpainted. The toilet was awful, and the sink was broken. I complained to the staff, but nobody bothered to do anything.

The receptionists were kind and helpful, and the desk is open 24 hours. You can also order food from the restaurant downstairs. Housekeeping came daily, and the rooms had all the amenities. The location is pretty good, and the family suites work well for four people. I'd recommend this budget hotel to anyone looking for an affordable stay.
