Sun and Sea Kohlarn

Getting between the pier and the hotel was easy with their shuttle, and breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean, and the motorbikes were in good shape and easy to ride. The receptionist was always friendly and answered all my questions. I found the stay really comfortable, a 10/10 for me.

Clean, pleasant resort close to the beach and other amenities.

The pool was a highlight, and I liked having a mini bar nearby for drinks. It’s temporarily closed at the moment, though they still switch on the lights so guests can take photos there. Renting one of the hotel’s motorbikes costs extra, but it saves you from having to rent elsewhere. Their tuktuk can pick you up and drop you at the harbor, which made getting around much easier. The receptionist was friendly and had useful suggestions for nearby activities. There isn’t a lot of space or many facilities here, and the breakfast choices were just porridge, bread, and coffee. For the price, I expected more variety and better amenities. It felt a little overpriced.

The pool and location were both great, but a few things were a problem. The shower was clogged and the sink leaked. The bedsheets felt old and rough, and the staff didn’t speak English, even though English songs were playing. Breakfast stayed limited to porridge and toast throughout all three days.
