Am Surin Place

I stayed at AM Surin for two weeks with my son while we trained at a nearby Muay Thai gym. We both had a great time with the staff, especially the young woman at reception, who was so friendly and lovely to talk with. When the air conditioning in our first room stopped working, they moved us to another room quickly. The location was handy for everything around Surin Beach. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Surin beach is lovely, and for this price I’d definitely recommend the place. We paid about the same for a hotel in Kata and got a lot less.

A good place tucked just off the main road. The sandy beach area is about a seven-minute walk away, and there are small shops and restaurants nearby. There’s also a well-stocked store across the street.

I only spent one night here between trips, but it was a really peaceful break after Bangkok and Patong. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfy bed and direct access to the pool. It’s quiet and still an easy walk to the beach and local shops. Showing your key card also gets you discounts at nearby restaurants and massage places. The staff were polite, kind, and ready to help with anything I needed. Thanks for a lovely stopover. I’d stay again and recommend it.
