Aspery Hotel

After our long travels, Pant at the Aspery Hotel front desk was sweet, patient, and attentive, and went above and beyond to welcome us. There were a few small problems with our original room, but the staff sorted them out quickly and professionally, making good accommodations so we were comfortable. The stay ended up relaxing and enjoyable thanks to their care. The restaurant was great too, and its staff were very kind. The location was close to everything we needed. We’re grateful to Pant and the whole Aspery Hotel team for making us feel so welcome. My boyfriend says Pant is “the goat” lol. We’d definitely stay here again.

Our room was old and poorly kept, and the clogged toilet made the stay very uncomfortable. When we told the receptionist, they said no other rooms were available, so we had to get through the night in those conditions. We could only move rooms the next day, which shouldn’t happen at a properly run hotel. The experience was horrible. Aspery Hotel Patong feels outdated and badly maintained, and the service wasn’t helpful. I wouldn’t give it more than one star and wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The staff were very friendly and the stay was good overall, but I had a couple of concerns. The air conditioner’s control knob was broken, leaving it with just one temperature setting. Also, while I was sleeping, the cleaning lady opened my room door using her key card. When my friend knocked later, she offered to let him in and did so. That could be a serious security problem if someone else pretended to know me.

The rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean, and the hotel is quite near Patong Beach. But it was hard to find, even with Google Maps, and there’s no parking. It also didn’t look as it did on the online booking site. The breakfast selection wasn’t good.
