bloo Hostel

It's close to the old town but in a quiet area. Our private room was cleaned every day, and they brought water daily too, which was a first for us this late in our 1 month trip around Thailand. The staff were helpful when we extended by one night and had to switch rooms. They kept the original booking price and moved our bags for us, so we didn't need to do anything. The rooms don't really have windows, but we only used ours to sleep, so it wasn't an issue.

The location was really convenient, right across from the bus station and near the night market. There's breakfast, and the hostel has a modern, nice design. Just be ready for the stairs, because there's no lift. The room was enough for the price, and I loved the bunk beds. The receptionist was such a kind person with a wonderful heart. When we were about to leave, I got teary because she felt like a long-lost sister. Salute to her! Recommend it.

The bus station is right next door, which was handy for our trip to Krabi. Despite that, we couldn't hear any street noise. The room was comfortable, the bathroom clean and spacious, and the air conditioning worked well. There was free coffee in the mornings too. It's only a 10 minute walk to the old town, 15 minutes to the songthaew station, and there's a 7 11 just around the corner.

We stayed here for almost 3 weeks. It's a convenient hostel with friendly, polite staff, and the simple breakfast is worth having. One downside: avoid checking in after 10 pm, because there's no staff and the door is locked. Also remember your key card if you go out after 10 pm. You won't be able to get back in unless you're lucky and someone opens the door for you.
