Kamala Dreams

We arrived in mid-December 2025 and had a lovely stay at this friendly, family-run hotel. The beach is right at the back, and the main street out front has plenty of restaurants. There’s a restaurant at the front too, plus a laid-back beach bar beside the pool. The pool area is pleasant, with sunbeds, and some rooms have balconies with chairs or sunbeds. Step onto the beach and turn right over the little bridge for several beach massage spots. You can stroll along the shore past shops and other hotels, and local sellers come by regularly. Beach sunbeds cost 100 baht each. Our room was spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and safe. Breakfast is a nice set menu each morning. Check-in was quick, and they can store your luggage if you arrive early or need to leave it after checkout. Attractions, a 7-Eleven, and a pharmacy are within easy walking distance. Laundry is simple too, just across the road, 40 baht per kilo, ready the next day. Highly recommended, just sit back and enjoy. 👍🏼

The relaxed, easygoing feel here made it a lovely place to unwind by the sea, without the crowds or prices of a big resort. I had a wonderful stay at Kamala dreams, right on the beach, with shops, cafes, and local attractions close by. I could walk straight onto the sand and watch the sunset over the ocean. My simple room was comfortable and spotless, with a cozy bed, working air conditioning, and a lovely sea view. Housekeeping did a great job each day. The food was fresh, tasty, and well-priced, and breakfast had a satisfying variety. Meals in the laid-back dining area never felt rushed. The staff were welcoming and happy to help with directions, recommendations, or whatever we needed. A great value beachfront stay. I'd happily come back.

We had a great family break here and will be back. The location is hard to beat, with everything you need within walking distance and a good restaurant out front. Our rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean. The beach is beautiful, and this end is protected, which makes it better for kids and swimming in general. Breakfast was adequate, though the included option could be a bit better. Highly recommended!

Kamala Rooms has a great location for quick trips to 7/11 or laundry, with everything a short walk away. The front opens onto a lively street full of unusual shops, restaurants, and cafés, while at the back there's a beachside restaurant with authentic Thai food and a full cocktail menu. There are two restaurants to choose from, and Kamala Dream guests have private direct beach access. My room was spacious, nicely decorated, and cleaned immaculately every day. The remote-controlled air conditioner was modern, and sliding balcony doors opened straight to the pool, a lovely place to have breakfast while watching the sunrise. I appreciated the kitchenette, with a mini fridge, sink, cupboards for cutlery, and a handy microwave for a longer stay, though I didn't need it because I usually ate delicious meals from the restaurants at Kamala. Free WiFi was super fast and efficient. Five stars, and I'm already looking forward to returning.
