The pool was clean and kid-friendly, with a maximum depth of about 1.20 meters, though it tended to be cold because it gets little direct sun. Breakfast felt a bit minimal, especially the fruit selection, and I didn’t think it was worth the money. The bed was hard in the middle, so I had to sleep near the edge to rest comfortably; the rest of my family didn’t complain. On the plus side, it was quiet from neighboring rooms, the AC worked perfectly, and even on a higher floor the bathroom drained fine. The large bathtub was relaxing. Costs were clear, with no hidden fees. It’s relatively close to the old town, Grab makes taxis easy to call, and there’s a small 7-11 and some very good local restaurants on the street behind the hotel.

We found a spacious room that was sparkling clean, and the staff were so kind. The city view gave the place a romantic feel. Grand Supicha City Hotel is a great affordable find in Phuket, and I’d highly recommend it for a lovely stay.

Patong is nowhere near this hotel, despite what’s implied. The property also feels terribly managed and is in a very poor area. Rooms were in awful shape, dirty, unhygienic, and unpleasant to look at. Staff behavior was shockingly rude and arrogant, and as Indians we felt clearly unwelcome. We had no help with our luggage on arrival and had to haul every bag ourselves. Room service was refused, and we had to go around the hotel for basics like towels and forks. When we asked for one extra roll of toilet paper, they said we’d be charged. Cheap, embarrassing, and unacceptable. Avoid this place if you care about basic dignity, hygiene, or a peaceful vacation.

My wife and her four friends are staying in rooms 1705 and 1706, and they’ve been complaining to me a lot about this disgusting hotel. There’s no room service, and no way to contact reception from the room. I feel ashamed that I booked it. If you want to enjoy Phuket, please avoid Grand Supicha. Shame on you, hotel.
