Park 38 Hotel

The room was nice, and the area is pleasant, though there are hardly any restaurants nearby. We picked the hotel so we could walk to andamanda water park. The guards wouldn’t let us enter the park from the side we reached, even though we could go through there, so we had to take a taxi to the entrance. That was annoying. On the way back, we left through the exit and it was only a five-minute walk to the hotel, which was very convenient.

The staff were fantastic, always friendly and helpful. The location was another plus, with the water park and central Phuket shopping mall nearby. My room had the basics, including air conditioning, a mini fridge, kettle, and toiletries, and the little window brought in plenty of sunlight. The bed was much too firm, and I could feel the springs in my back. Sound carried through the hotel too. I heard people passing outside and noise from other rooms. It’s an okay choice, but those drawbacks stood out.

There’s no hotel parking, and the guys on the street were rude and didn’t know how to talk to people. Staying here was a really bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

The location is a bit far from everything, and taxis aren’t the best way to get around from here. Food within walking distance is very expensive, so plan ahead. If you have a tour, or rent a car or motorbike, it works really well. The hotel itself is very nice for the price, with clean rooms, everything well maintained, friendly and helpful staff, a nice breakfast, and a pool. The staff even went out of their way to help us catch the airport bus, which was extremely kind.
