The rooms are clean, big, and cozy, and the staff are polite with very good room service. The rates are reasonable, but this is only a hotel, with no restaurant or breakfast, and there's no nearby money exchange. The main difficulty was communication, since they only speak Thai and nobody understood English. For food packets and juice, the nearby 7/11 is very cheap. You can take a bike ride to BIG C for 20B to shop.

I spent many nights at The One Place when I lived in Thailand, and staying there was always a pleasure. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff were incredible, friendly, polite, and really helpful. I'd highly recommend it.

I spent five weeks at 'The One Place', and it felt like a second home. I'm still emotionally attached to it and can hardly forget how good that time was. The building manager was very friendly, and I made some great friends there, especially the watchman 'Pee Deau'. We were close, and he'd make me coffee late at night, sometimes even at 2 AM. I also met the most important person in my life during my stay there. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation on Ekkachai Rd. "Best moments happen only when you allow them to happen" !!
