OYO 944 Review Resort

Please, please don't stay here. It's easily the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. There's no reception, just cleaning ladies who might let you check in, and the area around the toilet is filthy. The truly awful part is that every room gets loud in-house music with a live band each night until 12.00pm, with the bass coming right into your room. There's no manager around, and nobody speaks ANY English, not even hello. Wherever you are in the world, a hotel should be able to welcome guests in English. The menu is all in Thai, so ordering is impossible if you don't understand Thai. At 550 baht a night it's still not cheap. Avoid this place.

It's damp and smelly all the time, and the water heater is broken. I found ants and fleas in the room. The extra bed was only a mattress on the floor, so thin it was impossible to sleep on. I asked for another mattress and they refused. Maybe it was the season, but parking under a tree meant hard spikes fell onto my car and scratched it. I won't stay here again.

I'm changing my review. For the price, the room was better than I expected, and better than Bang Saray Resort, where I stayed the day before. The service wasn't very good, but we were only there for one night.

They woke my baby by knocking on the door late at night and asking me to open up, even though I'd booked online. The room was awful, the service was just as bad, and the bed was hard with low pillows. Things were broken and there was no hot water. In the morning, they asked me to show proof of the booking. I've stayed at over 100 places, and this was the worst. I'll never go back. The service was unbelievable.
