The Wi-Fi in our room didn't work. We asked someone to fix it, and they came twice, only to say, "Sorry, no english." Wi-Fi is the same word in Turkish, so that excuse made no sense. When we tried to explain the problem, reception told us maybe we didn't understand them. Someone with customer service experience could at least speak a couple of words of English.

It's an older place, but it's well maintained and competitively priced. I'll always stay here when I'm in Ankara. The staff are courteous and professional, and the sheets and pillows were fresh and clean. I noticed thoughtful hygiene details too: towels are kept in the part under the sink farthest from the toilet, and the toilet paper is placed away from it as well. The focus seems to be on running the hotel well, rather than on a polished main bar or a pretty face at the entrance. It feels like a no-nonsense, family-friendly business hotel. Thank you.

The hotel is clean, well situated, and good value for money. Staff were pleasant, and breakfast had a good selection of dishes. Dinner was very disappointing, though, and the service felt rushed. The menu was made up of very traditional Turkish dishes, which overseas visitors might not expect from a hotel restaurant.

After more than six weeks here, it feels like a second home. The staff are fantastic, so pleasant, helpful, and welcoming, especially the housekeeping team and the young women at breakfast. My one complaint is that there's no bathtub. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone. Xx

I'd give it a maximum of 3 stars. The place is clean, but there's a bad smell in the bathroom that they should fix. I couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi, and the air conditioning wasn't good either 😐.
