Camel Apart

I’ve stayed here on three visits over the past 18 months. The owners, a father and his sons, are friendly and welcoming. It’s a good choice if you want a room at a decent price. The location is great too, close to the sea and other tourist places in Keleici.

The location was the only decent thing. We had a bad check-in, the rooms and washroom were bad, and the building smelled unpleasant. We booked a few weeks ahead, but were told there were no rooms left and given a different room. The address on Booking.com doesn’t match the one on Google Maps, even though the name is the same. Using clickbait to bring in customers isn’t right. Avoid this place.

The courtyard door slams really hard when it closes, and people were walking around outside the windows at night, talking and making noise all night. I didn’t sleep on either of our two nights. It was extremely noisy.

We liked the garden for having a casual drink or reading, and the place is within walking distance of bars, restaurants, Karaalioğlu Park, and small beaches like Adalae Plaj. Our family room had two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and a separate dining space. It was spacious and well located in Antalya’s old town. The beds were comfortable and the shower decent. The washing machine and kettle came in handy, but cleanliness needs work, especially the stove, which was too dirty to use. For the budget price and central location, it’s a decent option if you’re not too picky about cleanliness. 4/5 stars.
