Right in the middle of the old town, Grace Lounge is a really unusual place to stay. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed trying some of their wine. There’s no breakfast, but plenty of places nearby. It’s beside a bar, so nights can get a little noisy, though we slept fine without earplugs. It used to be just a wine tasting spot and restaurant, and still is, even though it doesn’t show up that way on Maps. The guest rooms were added about a year ago. I’d recommend it.

Sali was a wonderful host, and we had a lovely time sharing Turkish wine in good company. Grace is in Antalya’s old town, so it’s easy to explore the city on foot. We stayed for two nights and would happily recommend it to travellers.

Salih really knows wine. He suggested we let him choose what we drank, so we followed his advice, and the tastes he brought out were incredible. Our little table turned into a feast: the meat, drinks, cheese plate, and sides all hit the spot, and we had a great evening. At first the place looks a bit dark and shabby, but once you notice the details, it grows on you. Strongly recommended.

We sat outside, which was just right, and the people running the place were lovely. The veal and beef carpaccio were excellent, and this was the complimentary cheese board we received. You can pick your wine from the owner’s cellar just inside the restaurant. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere in the evening was beautiful, and the location in the old town is one of the best. Everything we ate was excellent. You can tell whoever prepares the meals cares about all the little details. This was the best place I ate in Antalya.
