Santana Hotel

The pool was very clean, the grounds green, and the food was good. Our room and the rest of the property were super clean too, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the music and the beach, though it’s a little way from the hotel. We enjoyed walking down there and seeing local life. There’s a photo spot about 1.8 km away, searchable on Google Maps. The room looked unattractive, with things held together by hot glue or silicone. The shower was hard for us to get into, the mattress was very hard, and instead of a blanket there was something like a towel. If you can put up with the room’s appearance, the hotel, pool, food, and staff are nice for an affordable price.

For its category, this is an excellent hotel. The staff were very polite, and special thanks to Fatih, the manager, who did everything to make us feel like valued guests. Our room was very clean, with wet cleaning every day. We enjoyed the tasty food: mostly chicken for meat, fresh and stewed vegetables, and melons and watermelons for fruit. The portions were huge.

Mahmet gave me the best massage I’ve ever had, and it wasn’t expensive. He treated me on May 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th this year. I recommend him 100%! Thank you so much, and greetings from Lithuania! 🥰

I booked a room with a balcony, but they gave me one of the hotel’s two rooms without one. Luckily, the manager changed it later. Don’t be fooled by the receptionist’s constant grin. At the restaurant, which has no air conditioning, I turned on a fan. Two older Russian women were bothered by it, so they turned it off. The bar closed at nine and only offered cheap wine as its alcohol. I took two glasses to drink by the pool on a sunbed. When I had just a sip left, someone came over and bothered me, saying eating and drinking by the pool wasn’t allowed. On checkout day, while I waited for my transfer and drank wine in the restaurant, someone saw me from outside and immediately told the receptionist on duty. The receptionist came over to say I’d checked out and could no longer have alcohol. The person with me had not drunk any alcohol in 17 days, but they begrudged us a few glasses of lousy wine. There was also a suspicious, convoluted situation involving wine. I won’t describe it here out of respect for the owner’s friendliness.
