What stood out most was how helpful every staff member was. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and special thanks to Ozge! The rooftop breakfast was delicious each morning, especially the lattes. We also loved the fresh bread and hummus at dinner. We had a great short stay at the Grand Galata Hotel. There were three of us in one room, but still enough space to sleep comfortably. The hotel is new and very clean, two minutes on foot from Galata Tower, with lots of good food and shopping close by. Highly recommend it for a visit to Istanbul.

Ozkan deserves a special mention. He was professional, kind and so willing to help, and made sure everything went smoothly. His genuine hospitality made our visit even more memorable. Our family stay at Grand Galata Hotel & Spa was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and the facilities excellent. The hotel was reliable and affordable, with the comfort and extras you'd expect from a much larger place, while still feeling warm and welcoming. The location also made it easy to explore Istanbul. We'd gladly stay again and highly recommend it.

We booked Grand Galata at the last minute and were really pleased. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, from check-in through check-out, some of the best hotel staff we've encountered. The hotel itself was clean and modern, and the location worked well. Breakfast was excellent, with a beautiful view. The sauna and pool area was well maintained, and we had it to ourselves most of the time. We'd absolutely stay again.

Our sea view room was awesome, with a great glimpse of Istanbul right from the window. The location made it easy to get to city activities, shops, cafés, boat rides, Eminonu and Hagia Sophia. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Sabri Akay. Breakfast had loads of choice, perhaps a bit more sweet food than you'd usually see at European breakfasts, but there were eggs, sausage, bread, salad and fruit too. The coffee bar could make whatever coffee you wanted and even remembered what you'd had the day before. There’s also a spa with a pool, sauna and steam room, plus massage and hamam services.
