Rustic Caves

The cave rooms at Rustic Caves were lovely, with beautiful decor, very comfortable beds, and spotless cleanliness. They really had that distinctive Cappadocia charm. Staff were generally welcoming and friendly. The problems made the stay less enjoyable than we'd expected. The bathroom had no shower curtain or proper enclosure, so the whole floor got soaked each time. Breakfast was very basic, with almost no variety, and honestly not very good. The biggest issue was the Wi-Fi. It was completely unavailable for two of our three nights, which was inconvenient when we needed it for plans and bookings as tourists. When we brought it up, the staff response felt dismissive, something along the lines of “just don't use it then,” with no real apology or solution. The only gesture was a small €5 discount on a tour booked through the hotel, which didn't make up for the disruption, including people coming in and out of the room at times. The rooms have so much potential. I hope they improve the internet reliability and breakfast options.

The people here made my holiday. A building is only a building, but the staff can make or break a trip, and mine was better because of them. Farshid especially was a ray of sunshine at night reception. He was hospitable, friendly, courteous, and always cheerful and smiling. I believe his name means sunshine, and he really lived up to it. The daytime and nighttime reception staff were all warm, polite, friendly, and helpful, always ready for a smile and a chat. The kitchen staff greeted me warmly in the mornings too, even when I was last minute. Thank you all for a lovely stay. Hopefully I'll return before too long. This was my second visit. The place felt clean and homely, with a nice breakfast. It's in a great location in Goreme, a short walk from restaurants and public transport. The bedrooms are spacious, and the bathrooms were cleaned daily unless guests asked otherwise.

I stayed one night and absolutely loved it. The room was warm, clean, and beautifully decorated, a really cozy place to relax. The hotel's conveniently located, not too far from the town or main area, and the service was excellent. I'd definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Arman made a big difference to our stay. He was polite, friendly, professional, and always ready to help, making sure we felt welcome and comfortable. His excellent hospitality left a great impression, and we chose to extend our stay by one more night. Give Arman a raise! We were extremely satisfied with the whole experience. The room was clean, cozy, comfortable, and well maintained, the facilities were excellent, and the location made it easy to get around. We'd highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.
