The room and bed linens were clean, but a lot of things didn’t work well. The bed was far too soft and uncomfortable, and the air conditioner kept turning very cold without working properly. We called reception about ten times. There was no breakfast, and the hallway and lobby were messy and worn out. Water in the bathroom and toilet drained very slowly. The location was great, one minute from the Karaköy seaside, ten minutes from Galataport, and about ten minutes from Galata Tower, though a bit far from the metro.

We booked online and got a confirmation email, but when we arrived the hotel was closed for renovations. We called the number on the door and got nothing but “we’re closed.” We managed to find an excellent hotel a couple of doors down, The Wings, which I highly recommend. They took us in at no notice. Don’t book here!

Onur handled our check-in and made sure we got the best service possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the rooftop was a great bonus. The location is perfect if you love views of the Bosphorous.

The rooms were clean, though on the small side, and the staff were friendly. The location is really convenient, about five minutes from Galata Port and very close to a metro station. I recommend it.

The bed was very comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked well. Our room was simple and nice, with a tiny TV, though the door was thin enough that hall noise came through clearly. The bathroom did its job, but the shower drained very slowly and there was nowhere to put the soap, so it sat wet on the counter. We also had some mosquitoes, so be careful about opening the windows. The location suited our walking plans around the old town and Galata, and the nearby trams and boats were useful too. The price for a week was reasonable, and the staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful.
