Aslan Apartments Istanbul

I lived here for three years, so I can say the location is amazing and the apartment is comfortable. From the top floors, the view is breathtaking. Aslan is a truly decent, honorable, wonderful guy.

Getting around with a stroller took some effort because Sultanahmet has steep hills and cobblestones, but we still managed. Most of Istanbul’s historic sights were within a 10-20 minute walk, even with our baby. We spent 9 days here, found the apartment comfortable, and thought Aslan was a very professional host. I stayed at Aslan Apartments for about a week back in 2014 and never got around to writing this. The apartments weren’t luxurious, but the location near many attractions was excellent and the management was friendly and understanding. I broke a glass cup, and they kindly didn’t charge me. Since there’s no reception desk, make sure you tell them exactly when you’ll arrive or you may end up waiting outside.

Apartment 5 had an amazing sea view from the balcony, and the place was clean, spacious, and cozily decorated. They left breakfast food, water, and juice for us to prepare ourselves, and the espresso was especially delicious. It’s about 8-10 minutes from Sultanahmet Square, with a few supermarkets and grocery stores nearby. I was there for a weekend in mid-June 2019. Thanks to Mr. Aslan and Ms Gunnur for being such great hosts. I hope to stay again on my next trip.
