The street noise carried into our room late at night, with honking cars and people outside, since the windows didn’t block much sound. Our bathroom door also wouldn’t shut fully, and breakfast could use better quality and more choice. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the location was convenient. What stood out most was the staff: always smiling and very friendly. They helped arrange transport and reservations, and checked on us before we left for the airport. I’d recommend staying here and would return on another Istanbul visit.

The glass walls around the washroom were semi-transparent, so you could see and hear everything when your suite mate used the toilet. The rooms also felt cramped with all the stuff packed into them, and the windows wouldn’t close properly, leaving it extremely loud day and night. There was a moldy room and a strong sewage smell. Management refused to help. We paid $250-$300 for six nights and got no solution, so if you’re booked here and can’t get a refund, I’d cut the loss and leave. The place was disgusting and disgraceful. The photos on ig also look AI-generated.

The rooftop breakfast comes with a view over the Golden Horn, and Galata Tower and Istiklal are within walking distance. Taxis are right outside too, with dozens around. The hotel itself was stylish, comfortable, and very well located, with sound-isolating windows and a comfortable bed. What made it memorable for me was the attention from reception. They kept checking that I was OK and asking what else I needed. I’ve travelled for over 32 years and hadn’t experienced that level of care before.

It’s a simple, small place without extra services, and I don’t think it’s worth the price or the hype. The room looked nice, though street-facing rooms were noisy. Breakfast was very poor. It’s close to Galata Tower and somewhat close to Taksim, but other tourist sights are farther away.

The staff did so much to make our stay a good one, and were genuinely helpful. We had a lovely time at this centrally located hotel in Istanbul. Thanks for the great service.
