There are plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and fast food places nearby, though most shut by 10pm. A huge outlet mall and other malls are within walking distance. The price was good, the room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A bulb was missing, but they replaced it quickly. The airport is a short taxi ride away, under 20TL.

It's not in central Istanbul, but the neighborhood felt interesting and safe, with a few restaurants and hotels around. Staff were friendly and check-in was quick and efficient. The room was comfortable and had a TV and air conditioning. There's a small supermarket just around the corner with food, drinks, alcohol and pretty much everything you might need. I even had a delicious pizza delivered to my room. Can't eat spicy Kebabs or Döners every day ;)

Getting to Sabiha Gökçen Airport took under 10 minutes even with the morning rush hour traffic jam. The location for the price is great, and so is the quality for the price.
