The rooms on the top floor were spacious and even had a nice balcony. We also had daily room cleaning, and the hotel was close to all the main sights in Sultanahmet. During my week here, I really enjoyed talking with the staff. They were some of the friendliest, nicest people I met in Turkey, and their suggestions were great. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and come back again :)

When we arrived for our prepaid July 2025 reservation at Good Night Hotel Istanbul, the property looked nothing like its Booking.com photos and description. Renovation work was underway, conditions felt unsafe, hygiene was poor, and the rooms clearly weren’t fit for guests. We left immediately because we didn’t feel safe and booked another hotel. Then the hotel marked us as no-shows, which I believe was likely meant to stop us leaving a review. That felt dishonest and manipulative. I have photos and videos showing the actual state of the place, and hope Booking.com acts to keep other travelers from being misled. This was one of my worst experiences booking through this platform. Avoid this property at all costs.

Traveling alone as a woman, I felt safe and looked after the whole time, which mattered a lot to me. The rooftop terrace was a highlight, with a breathtaking view of Istanbul and the Sea of Marmara. Check-in was smooth, and the modern rooms were clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The reception staff were welcoming and offered useful tips for exploring the city. It’s also well located, within walking distance of the nearest tram stop and the seafront promenade, which you can follow into the city. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Good Night Hotel Istanbul and would recommend it for its value.

The receptionists were friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and nice. It’s centrally located and fairly priced. I enjoyed my stay, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re on a budget.

We were glad we stayed here. The hosts were kind, the room was comfortable, and the location was great. Istanbul’s main sights are about a 15-minute walk away.
